because the middle east is about tribal factionalism. Arabs are like the mafia. They will claim collaborators whatever thats bullshit. Hamas was in charge, they got hit hard, other families are either vying for power or hamas is afraid they will try to, and so they are taking care of the problem.
There is no such thing as a sense of palestinian nationalism or group identity. Its all just tribal politics. Jews are the most populous tribe from the middle east and this is why all the other middle easterners hate them. This is actually all thats going on.

Islam is a religion of diplomatic subjugation. They are not universalists like christians, dont make the mistake of thinking their desire to convert everyone is the same as how christians do it. Nor is it like jews, who see themselves as a tribe with a tribal god and have no desire to gain converts (the narrative for any jewish convert is they must be a misplaced jew whos just finding their way back, either biologically or spiritually since jews believe in reincarnation).

Islam is like the united nations for arabs and anyone else who wants to join. They constantly kill each other because there is no kalif to govern them, and their supreme leader is not one that unifies everyone but rather one that is able to walk the tightrope of politically satisfying all parties. They have no desire for unity, no ability to think in those terms. They are foremost tribal.
This is why the middle east is at eternal war and this is why its a very bad idea to invite these people into western countries.
