I hate living in this country.
You have to have a car.
The streets and highways are full of speeding psychos.
Gas, maintenance, repairs...
Every extra dollar you get seems to be instantly eaten by the car.

All the old cars break down constantly.
The only time I'm in the car is back and forth through gridlock for work.
When it's parked, I even have to pay for that sometimes.

Serious about this. It could be just what you're looking for.

Take the loan agreement to another company, even a bank will do. Show them the contract, tell them you would like to refinance because while you CAN afford to make these payments, it HURTS. They will come up with something better, which will basically be lower payments over a longer duration. Then either go with them or take their quote back to the original loan holder and tell them what you told the other guys, showing them the quote. Rather than lose the business, they will often do even better.

Debt is very flexible like this. It is the backbone of the entire economy.

I financed a used 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT. Purchase price was $17,500. After fees and shit it was $22,000. My credit was so bad I got a 19% interest rate. I was paying $500 per month for a car that was only worth like $5000 max. I stopped paying the loan and it eventually got repossessed, then I claimed "soft bankruptcy" through a consumer proposal and got all my debts combined and reduced to $6000. I had a bunch of small loans and financed random shit like a drone and a steering wheel for my PC. I only have to pay $120 a month now that the car is gone and my debts were consolidated kek

In my experience, the US has an even more competitive and diverse lending market than my country does. As long as OP has a fairly decent credit rating (that may be why he's being crushed by the terms he did manage to get) he should be able to do much better than he is now.
