I took 10 years off from gaming so I could work 100hrs weekly running 2 small businesses.
Now I'm trying to relax and enjoy life more, so I bought a ps5 pro and I'm playing Skyrim for the first time. Already put 100hrs in after 1.5 months. Good game. Fun times

I'm 32 and play at least two days a week if I am lucky, even then it's no more than an hour. I'm not going to say they're a waste of time, only you can make that determination in your own life. I'm working on my business, it's getting somewhere, means games take a back seat. I am getting into fitness to look good and feel better, that's going to take some time as well. I own a home, but I am single, so relationships at my age aren't going to be easy.

The games I play are older games. Anything from 1990 to 2015. AAA gaming is a dead industry. I have my PC and Switch 2, I don't need anything else.

I enjoy watching streamers and let's players but I have practically no patience to actually play anymore. I'm 44. Got a Nintendo when I was 9. Before that had coleco vision. Games meant a lot to me growing up.

The only game I can play for longer than a couple hours total is 7 Days to Die. No story. Survival/crafting with full control over creation/destruction. It's not perfect but it scratches the itch.

Eldenring was fine. Meh. Ark, meh. Can't do sports games, fighting games anymore. RPGs are all so fucking gay with their faggoty stories. I like Fallout but 4 was like a decade ago. Elder Scrolls was cool I guess but the lore has always been gay. After getting into 7D2D I can't imagine not being able to build/destroy my environment.

I've been playing Genshit Impact pretty much exclusively. Mostly crack it on via mobill and use my £3,000 Facebook machine (Laptop) when there are battles requiring more effort.
