Anyone recommend books about WW2 that are either pro-Axis or at least unbiased?

Pick any of the WW2 books by David Irving and you can't go wrong. I would suggest these for starters:
Apocolypse 1945 The Destruction Of Dresden
Hitler's War
Churchill's War
The War Between the Generals

The fact that he interviewed some Germans for his books does not negate what I just said.

You won't find much as far as literature, but you should find some examples of the artwork that existed in German galleries, the ones that were all pilfered and then completely destroyed at the end of WW2.
All the artwork that defined the ideals of the German Reich.
The conclusions draw themselves.

Just look for all the castles that were destroyed at the end of WW2. None of them were defensive structures at the time.
All of them housed Germany's artistic history.
Pretty much the nail in the coffin for 20th century Germany.

No one is unbiased. I feel like you just have to recognize everyone's bias and read a plethora of different opinions and come up with your own opinions. For reading, you can look into the actual intellectual founders of Italian fascism and Nazism. Gentile and Hitler's second book are essential reading. ZoomerHistorian and TikHistory on youtube aren't bad. TikHistory is definitely not NatSoc, He is classical liberal austrian school economics, but actually represents non-social democracy/marxism ideas with a fair shake. Hope that helps.

I feel like everyone now a days just assumes that "western" culture which they see as anglo culture is the basis of all of europe and the new world. I think german/autstrian/prussian culture is distinct and was a major contender historically. People forget that Kaliningrad (Konigsberg) was essentially the cultural, philosophical and scientific capital of the world for a decent amount of time before it was completely destroyed in ww2 then reconstructed as a sterile soviet bloc city after. Honestly try to find a decent philosopher or scientist in the 1800s that wasn't german / austrian and you'll have a hard time. Their intellectual heritage has been lost and assimilated.

David Irving is a legend that spent most of his life trying to give is the real story behind WW2. He spent years in the actual War Archives of multiple countries finding things no one bothered to publish (because the "real" historians are all full of shit and never did real research. There basically is none. The Allies went into propaganda overdrive to make the Axis look as evil as possible. Nothing even slightly pro-Japanese, or even just an unbiased account of what actually lead to Japan invading Manchuria or attacking Pearl Harbor, was allowed to be published for decades after the war, everything is just the Hiroshima bombing and feel sad about it. Its a miracle that Hadashi no Gen somehow got published since it depicts American soldiers kidnapping sick people and harvesting their organs (which actually happened) but I guess the best way to get past American censors was to do it in manga form back then.

However, one can see that such a claim does not hold up under scientific scrutiny. Irving's first book was Apocalypse 1945: The Destruction Of Dresden. It was critically acclaimed all over the world. His next book, Hitler's War, got him in hot water for the simple fact that he didn't mention the Holocaust in it once and every publisher he went to told him they wouldn't print the book. This of course brought the ire of the jews on him and they have smeared his name, imprisoned him, and drug him through court multiple times to try and break him.
The man is on his deathbed now and I cannot stress enough how important of an author he is. We owe him a great deal for putting forth such wonderfully researched material.

He does believe that Jews were killed en masse in WW2 but he doesn't think Hitler even knew about it. He also dismisses the 6 million number and gas chambers outright.

If you have any interest in WW2 history you really should be checking out his books and listening to him speak (plenty of videos on youtube)

Any of Leon Degrelle's works are worth a read. Youngest political leader in European history at the time, very gifted writer, and legit super soldier who started from the bottom and survived the whole war. Literally protected by God the amount of times he cheated death. Campaign in Russia is a solid book to start with

I recently broke down and bought an e-reader so I can pirate stuff that is obscenely expensive or hard to find but I will always love having actual books around me. Read General Patton's letters from after the war. He said we fought the wrong people and had some interesting comments about the jews.
