I'd say that this is going to get worse in the UK. This current law only affects advertising and is supposedly to help fight obesity rates. In a few years the government will then come out and say that these measures are not working. They will demand taxes on these products and plain packaging and all the other stuff that they did with tobacco. Meat will probably be next.

The people went from normal weight to Amerilard levels of fatness in some areas during that time. I always saw young people in their early 20's as fat as fuck waddling down the street.
