2 years ago, from what I was reading online, things were going pretty well for the trans community in western countries. They were becoming more visible in MSM, getting prominent government/military roles and non-LGBTQ+ people were vouching for them and their rights. Now all of a sudden, it feels they've become universally hated.

Why is that? What changed in 2025? Was it all Trump's doing?

Trump defunded it. It was all running on USAID and abuse of Medicaid, also the military would let you troon out if you felt like it.
