The real solution is to force them onto the darkweb. And to impose hefty fines for the server owners on clearnet. Notice I said server owners. It then becomes a crime to host pornography. Most of the fines end up with Amazon or some cloud provider. Porn would disappear from the internet in less than a year. Its cheap and easy to identify who owns servers. Give them all 1-3 months to make sure none of their servers host any porn content.. and those who ignore it will get put out of business. Simple, easy and quick. All porn is gone.

There are plenty of states that would agree to it but not enough yet. The feds like the porn I think. It corrals undesirables and gives them visibility into sexual deviants. The only reason the GOP in some states are onboard now is because conservative children are now being affected by it. Before they would just say "Its a parents responsibility to protect their children". But now more and more conservatives are failing to protect their children. Internet porn is far too prolific to realistically expect for parents to be able to block all of it. No software is sophisticated enough to filter out all of the porn sites on the internet. Manually monitoring every transmission on your child's device is impractical not to mention detrimental to your relationship. Porn is like junk food or cigarettes. The fines are the way to go. And again I suggest fining the server owners vs those who publish the content. Going against section 230. This will force porn producers to have their own servers and even if they do they the fines will put them out of business. And ultimately what will happen is producers can still make it if they want but they will have to publish it to the dark web. More or less everyone wins here. It becomes taboo again. People will still find it and produce it but 99% of children will be safe. This is how boomers understood it pre-internet. If you wanted the crap you had to go out of your way to find it

The first method should be you not letting the internet raise your kid. Just watch what they are viewing online. People were letting youtube Kids raise their kids and it was found that after 5 min or so into whatever they are watching, horrific monkey torture, rape, murder and extreme porn would pop up.
