"Public space" platforms source their success from the amount of active users they contain. You cannot by definition take over a public space by creating a second platform with less people.

Advertisement works on the supposition that whatever is shown to the public, the public itself will think others have seen it.

I don't think /pol knows about it, but Bluesky is actually in a huge controversy right now. Basically, there's this little chuddy called Jesse Singal who's on Bluesky. He made anti-troon posts outside of Bluesky, which really upset the local troon userbase. The troons want him banned but he didn't actually break the rules of Bluesky because it was all on other websites. Eventually the CEO/Admins started mocking the troons who called for him to be banned which really upset them.

As a result, a large portion of the userbase is leaving. Some went back to twitter, but a lot are going to Northsky/Blacksky. Blacksky is a Bluesky clone created exclusively for black people and Northsky is a similar clone created for trannies. The wave of immigrants to Blacksky is causing it's own problem as the OG niggas are complaining about the new whitey immigrants not fitting into their culture.

Engagement comes from disagreement and controversy.

Bluesky is leftwing extremist self sucking views that not many people agree with. Those that disagree would rather use X an not be censored.

Bluesky started censoring Charlie Kirk stuff, and with the left, if you don't cater to their every demand or align with them on every belief, you are the problem and they will exile you or leave your platform.

The reason they're so deranged and full of hatred, is because they are everything they hate.

They "HATE" fascism, yet they are fascist.

They "HATE" racism, yet when they see a black person, they think of them as a slave that is somehow beneath them. etc....

They DEMAND equal rights, yet they don't want to go to war. They don't went men to be able to opt out of a child etc.
