You don't get it, he can't strike too hard or the war would end too quickly. Imagine if he just nuked Kiev, they would instantly surrender. But what about all those ukrainians that don't live in Kiev? Scenario two: he bombs every single nuclear, gas, coal, and hydro power plant. People freeze, and eventually rise up and cause the government to collapse (think Germany 1918). Well that would still leave a lot of ukrainians wouldn't it? Nonono monke is smarter than that, he will bomb them one bomb at a time, just enough to make the people antagonistic enough to support the war and keep it going indefinitely. As the war draws out more and more people look into the history of Ukraine, the history of its people, the political situation before the invasions. Its citizens tire of alerts, lack of electricity, lack of services, shortages, etc.
