Anon, this is the simple, cyclical pattern of history and is in fact hard-wired into human nature. When things get too crowded, when pressures become too great to compete for resources, lands and opportunities, when the markets are flooded so completely that everything feels fucked, we go and we fight each other to reduce the surplus population.
Mass death in an area is always good for the survivors. You simultaneously reduce demand (Because a whole bunch of people just died) and increase supply (Because their stuff survived, it was the person who got drafted, not his Pokemon Card Collection) while also reducing the supply of and the demand for, competition. It also increases the value of the skills of all the remaining people because there are now less people in the world that have whatever your skill is.
It can't be stopped. This is the way humanity reacts to there being too many people around and too much disunity. We break into two or more groups and fight continuously until there's only one. Then the survivors take or sell off all their shit and live better for it. That's not a MAGA issue, its much simpler than that. We're all heading for WW3 regardless of what anybody does - America hasn't been building the biggest and most overfunded military in human history to sit that war out, but to win it, dominate it, and usher in Pax Americana for the next thousand years. That can happen without you if you want, but not without America.
That said, this particular instance is just a matter of Venezuela fucking around and finding out. If they had been content to remain poor and largely ignored shitskins, and not tried to appropriate the lands and property of nations better than them, we wouldn't have to invade anybody. With luck, the rest of South America will learn from their example. Probably not though.
