Dead. Might be seeing an intellectual resurgence from the populist left and right. Plenty of good bands and musicians out there still on the grind but no genuine musical movement on par with Jazz or the folk era of the 50's and 60's exists. It's all multilayered subcultures.

We display a good penchant for prioritizing convenience. We just don't protect our food supply and allow manipulation of it far too much. Gun culture is a bit autistic and cringe. There's a lot of really pathetic dudes out there who have an autism fest over optics, add-ons and attachments, it's cringe to me. Gun is a tool. Treat it as such.

Film industry is cucked by neoliberalism. But we have had our moments of exceptionalism in the industry. Culture is created on the ground not from the top. It's in the bars and the clubs and in the pages of writing the artists do on their own time. The mainstream apparatus is just an aberration of a time long since past.

It is great for we who can think outside of the box in regards to making money since there is so much inconsistency on who is allowed to get away with what depending on who ya know and who ya blow.
