I know almost nothing about it
Very old religion and mostly erased by Christians and Muslims
I know a guy loved staring at flames
And invented the concepts of karma, after life, good and evil
Of course Christianity and Islam are based on that but even Buddhism adopted it, they even have a hell now
I also know there’s all this weird shit about the azhuras and the other ones
I know that they exist in Hinduism but the roles are reversed, same name but Iranians think one are demons the other angels while Indians see it as the inverse
My suspicion is that the original Vedic religion had these deities and minor deities, that Iran before Zoroaster was Vedic and polytheist as well, that he introduced the concept of good vs evil, sins and afterlife to the religion
And at one point there was a massive civil war between Iran and ancient bahrat which may or may not have only contained Pakistan back then, because while both were conquered by the aryans (basically ancient Russians), Iran was mostly them while India was a slavery society
So it was very similar to the USA with a difference between northern states and southern states
India was like the south with all the plantations and Iran was like the Yankees
The war was massive but unlike the American civil war they just split off permanently forming two civilisations
Over time or maybe by Zoroaster himself, they flipped the script on the original Hindu deities, since Hindus worships azuras (or is it the other way around I forgot) they say they are devils while they say the devil/jinn equivalent of Hinduism are angels
So the relationship between India and Pakistan today where everyone is seething constantly and hates anything associated with the other side must have happened between Iran and proto India
It probably happened between 2000 and 3000 years ago
Zoroasters religion became dominant in Iran but never took off in India because it was associated with the Iranians and they already hated each other
