I live in one of the poorest cities in America, Reading, PA.

Everyone in government, including cops, city laborers, hospital workers, and others, lives outside the city. Yet somehow, the people who actually live here have to pay higher taxes. The city is now handing out fines for parking, even though it’s overcrowded and there’s barely any space. I often have to park three blocks away, and every three days they clean the streets. If you don’t move your car, you get fined. The crazy part is there’s no parking to begin with.

They’re now installing cameras at every traffic light, doing everything they can to feed off the people of one of the poorest cities in America. It’s insane; some of the cops here make over $100,000 a year and live near where Taylor Swift’s family is from.

As for corruption, there have been two mayors, a few judges, and even teachers involved in scandals like pedophilia or abuse. Some cops are abusive too. Recently, many Dominicans have moved here and started buying up properties. Some are cartel-affiliated, opening all kinds of stores. Murders are up, crime is up, and cars are being stolen and taken to New York for chop shops. It’s getting really bad here, real bad.
