I ran some numbers on this before. Supposing an average IQ of 77, and a normal distribution (IQ is normally distributed), then in all of India there are only about 4000 people with IQ > 145.
0.001% of 1.5 billion people is 15000 people.
If you took all of the top 0.001% of India, at best you get about 4000 people with IQ > 145.
But that's not realistic because that would include all ages, and it assumes you could find and recruit all of them, and that they had a way to come to the USA.
And we're realistically not get the top 0.001%, we're getting 100x that many, and a lot of them are not near the top.
There are more Americans with IQ > 100 than there are Indians with IQ > 100.
