If everyone only has one life after which they go to heaven or hell, that would mean people are only born once and die once.

Then why are babies born handicapped - no eyesight, no limbs, with cancer, etc.? What did they do to deserve this at birth? They are just born right? God created their soul at conception or birth right? Is your God cruel? Is your God unjust? Is your God unfair?

Some deeds are just material. For example you helped a lot of people but you held on to the fruits of your actions, you had pride that you helped people, then you will not break the cycle of rebirth but you will be blessed when you are born on earth.


If you do spiritual deeds, such as praying to God, chanting his holy names, and dedicating the fruit of every action you do to God, then those fruits will not accumulate. If fruits do not accumulate, then you do not have to take birth to enjoy them or to suffer them (depending on your deeds).

You won’t have memory because that is how God designed the world. For everyone to be forgetful so that they can move on. I’m sure if someone asks you what you at 1 week ago, you’ll have to think and analyze and come to an answer. You won’t just say it in a second. It is a blessing if you think of it as a blessing and let go of arrogance, bad qualities, etc.

What fruits you need to experience in this life are solely up to God. And as I said, you can analyze your current surroundings, your experiences, your life,to understand what kind of person you might have been. You can also use astrology to analyze your past life. Certain highly spiritual souls can simply meditate and look into their past karmas. But it literally doesn’t matter.

You have been given this life to inquire about God, understand him, and develop such a deep love for him that you are completely absorbed in his thoughts.
