I recently started taking an SSRI. I was only given it because my situation was extreme. Given I’m here you know the drill some guy depressed for a decade mentally ill etc


The drug is giving me crazy side effects whist I get used to it like sleeping 2 hours a night and being amped up / on edge I literally vomited today.
I had to go get an over the counter sleeping medicine for tonight.

My dr and the pharmacist say quitting the drug in an unplanned way is worse than any side effect you can imagine.


Jordan Peterson in speeches and stuff you can google causally says anyone should go try an SSRI (anti depressant) its not a big deal.

Then his downfall was not listening to drs saying under no circumstances quit instantly and doing just that whist going into a coma.

I question if leaving meds the wrong way is why he is now so mentally ill

I do think it will work and that the shitty early side effects are actually signs of it’s strength and future impact but it’s a serious deal and Jordan just tells everyone to take them.

I take them if i go on a bender & drink myself into withdrawal. Valium is awesome for alleviating withdrawal. I know it sounds cliche but rigorous exercise is the best thing to deal with stress. Peterson is pathetic nowadays.

Glad to hear you're doing better fren. I recently started an SSRI and the panic attacks stopped, the social anxiety is gone, the fog has lift. I was finally able to see my relationship for what it was and see everything in life that was holding me back. Godspeed, anon.

Best thing I did for my mental health was going mostly vegan.
I let dairy slip by in sauces sometimes, but most of my food joy is vegan.

That plus antiparasitics has given me, an otherwise schizophrenic basket case, total mental clarity and comfort.

That’s not going to go away, you’re just going to tell yourself that it’s okay because you will become emotionally dulled. While whatever you’re trying to suppress will indeed be suppressed so will your other emotions. You’re basically turning yourself into an automaton.
