Anon millitary people are the sort of freaks who fake a mass shooting to coverup the fact that they wanted to commit suicide and then fail because they jump off a two story building thinking that being fat makes them fall faster. Almost all of them are mentally ill, drug fueled 78 IQ wackjobs.

Idk what you expected trying to explain your depression and morality to one.

If only there was some sort of explanation why an oxygen tank lasts longer on the surface than deep in water.
I wish we had the capability to fit a CO2 scrubber into a backpack to make the oxygen last longer, but the only thing we seem to be able to do is make magic little machines smaller and smaller these days.

Fat people do fall faster lmao. The mass to surface area ratio doesnt remain constant when someone puts on weight.

Howd they get the footage after the left? How did the camera pan up? How was there perfect communication between president and the austonauts?

Scuba Diver’s Oxygen Tanks: A standard scuba tank (80 cubic feet, ~2,265 liters at 3,000 psi) provides about 45-60 minutes of air at a typical surface breathing rate (20-30 liters/min). Two tanks could double this to ~1.5-2 hours, depending on depth and exertion. The "one hour" claim is roughly accurate for a single tank but ignores that divers’ air consumption varies with depth (e.g., at 20 meters, you use air ~3x faster due to increased pressure). The image of a diver with two tanks is likely exaggerated for effect, as most recreational divers use one tank.
Apollo Astronaut’s Oxygen Supply: Apollo spacesuits (Portable Life Support System, PLSS) carried ~1.2 kg of liquid oxygen at high pressure, providing ~7-8 hours of oxygen for extravehicular activity (EVA). The "22 hours" claim is false—Apollo EVAs were typically 4-7 hours (e.g., Apollo 11’s EVA was ~2.5 hours; Apollo 17’s longest was ~7.5 hours). The PLSS was designed for efficiency in a vacuum, delivering oxygen at a controlled rate (~0.3-0.5 kg/hour) to match an astronaut’s metabolic needs. The system also recycled CO2 and moisture, unlike scuba gear, which vents exhaled air. The scuba tank comparison is misleading because Apollo’s oxygen system was far more advanced, compact, and tailored for space.
Why the Argument Fails: Comparing a scuba tank’s capacity to an Apollo PLSS is apples-to-oranges. Scuba tanks store compressed air (21% oxygen), while Apollo used pure liquid oxygen, which is denser and more efficient. The PLSS also operated in a vacuum with no ambient pressure, requiring less gas per breath than diving at depth. The "idiot’s" claim ignores engineering differences and inflates the Apollo oxygen duration to 22 hours (a number not supported by NASA’s records) to make it seem implausible.

The Apollo 17 camera was radio controlled. One person at the Houston control center had a desk with basic pan and tilt controls, and that control signal gets forwarded through what was the forerunner of the deepspace network to a high gain antenna on the moon, to the camera, but the problem was the radio lag meant that there was a delay of about a minute. So the guy had to issue the pan up at just the right minute before liftoff. Liftoff was at a predetermined time of course.
They also wanted to do it on Apollo 15, but it failed.

The claim that the Moon’s diameter is 91 km, based on an animation and caption, is flawed and misrepresents astronomy to question the Moon landings. Here’s why:
Claim: The Moon’s orbital speed is 3,700 km/h, Earth’s rotation is 1,600 km/h, both east to west, so relative speed is 2,100 km/h. The Moon takes 2 min 36 sec (1/23 hr) to cross its diameter, so 2,100 ÷ 23 = 91 km diameter.
Errors:

Speeds & Directions: Moon’s orbital speed is ~3,683 km/h, but Earth rotates west to east (~1,670 km/h), not east to west. The Moon’s apparent westward motion is due to Earth’s rotation, not orbital speed. Subtracting velocities (3,700 - 1,600) is meaningless here.
Apparent Motion: The Moon’s sky motion (~15°/hr) is due to Earth’s rotation. The 2 min 36 sec claim for crossing its diameter (~0.5°) implies ~11.5 sec/°, far too fast (actual time: ~2 min for angular diameter).
Diameter Calculation: The Moon’s true diameter is ~3,474 km. The 91 km result comes from misapplying speeds and time. At ~384,400 km distance, the Moon’s angular size is ~0.5°, and Earth’s rotation causes the observed motion, not a tiny Moon.
