Whats interesting about the korean war is that the norks and chinks both outclassed the amerimutt forces in manuver warfare despite the latters idea that it was an american speciality. It was only when the war transformed into siege warfare that the amerimutt forces could hold and advance by grinding down the norks and chinks, who lacked heavy equipment and logistics to take on a fortified amerimutt front. The incheon landings would have been impossible against a foe with heavy mechanization and a comparable technological level.

The Korean War was arguably (there's argument for the Desert Storm era) the biggest gap in capabilities between the PLA and USA military. The gap now is far closer. To call the PLA a paper tiger and the idea the USN (whose Pacific fleet keeps colliding with other ships because various critical electronics haven't been maintained and don't work) would dogwalk them is Indian-esque Kanging.
