I know what you're saying. I'm white, but highly cynical. My viewpoint of the world is mostly rooted in Absurdism, but I understand the value of law, order, and religion for social cohesion.
I've traveled through Asia and know that East Asians are much more pragmatic on these things. The Confucian outlook is focused on creating harmony and structuring society in such a way as to create the best outcomes via shared common values, rather than overly-emotional, religious dogma that frequently leads to widespread dissent and catastrophic wars.
Unfortunately I don't think whites in general are really capable of adopting a less suicidal viewpoint. There is too much emphasis on the moral/spiritual and very little emphasis on real-world outcomes. Many Christians exist in a mental 'death-cult' reality where they eschew the world and it's future because they believe they are in the End Times, and Jesus' return is just around the corner.
In America, many Protestants support Israel as a form of "Christian Zionism" purposely to bring about the End Times to usher in Christ's return. Perhaps you too are rational enough to see how this outlook is suicidal in it's nature.
I don't think most people can have their irrational aspects beaten out of them. I think the majority of Europeans will devolve into a goop of brown mystery meat, while those who do not will retain a heightened sense of self-preservation.
