This is almost amazingly wrong
You know the people who tell you that hate you, and want you to ruin your own life for them, right?

If you produce more value, you'll make more money. If you're unlucky and have a stupid boss, then you might have to switch jobs. Or you can work for yourself and keep all the money, but give up the security of a guaranteed paycheck. This is true everywhere, even in socialist shitholes

Only relative to everyone else. Currently, 8 hour workdays are the norm so it's true that working 16 hours instead will make you more money.
But if everyone became "smart" and started working 16 hours, that would become the new norm. Wages would start lagging behind inflation until eventually 16 hour workdays could just barely make ends meet.

No, Jesus Christ you don't actually understand how anything works

A job is not a place where you go for a while and then a mysterious paycheck machine gives you money for your time. When you work, you produce value for others, and then you get paid for that. If you're waging, you accept less money than you usually produce in exchange for the security of a regular paycheck and benefits, and the owner of the place gets a piece of the value you produce as compensation for taking on the various risks of being a business owner. That's it. What you get paid is a generally accurate evaluation of (value you produce for others) times (difficulty of replacing you) less (government interference), with some coefficient of how good or bad you are at advocating for your own interests

If everyone started producing twice as much value, everyone would be richer, not poorer.

Amazon has managers and basically runs itself. The dude only cares about lavish things. He has a 32mil t-rex skeleton in his foyer. Wipes his feet on Napoleon's rug. Space ship he went to space in in his backyard, the one his bitch wife went to space in is at his other estate. He has like 19 residences, most used for tax evasion and 24/7 vacationing. A fucking 500 million dollar yacht that he uses a lot, and many other yachts at different spots in the world. His Seattle house has what can only be described as an evil villain lair, it's a meeting room through a hidden passage that has candles and other comically evil shit. His Beverly Hills estate has an outdoor Satan shrine you can see from Google maps, the big red thing.

>le reddit commie chart

1. That says "hourly compensation" - it does not include any other forms of compensation, such as health benefits, pension benefits, paid vacation time, company cars, stock matching, expense accounts etc which all make up a much larger share of the value package for employees in basically every job that isn't flipping burgers.
2. It is for all employees. Technology makes the 2025 office worker infinitely more productive than they were in 1970. A spreadsheet that would take hours with an adding machine and a pen can be done in seconds with Excel. A McDonald's burger flipper in 2025 is flipping about the same amount of burgers per shift as his granddad did in 1970. Non-productive part-time "service" jobs, with low hourly wages and total compensation that's about 90% hourly wage, have made up a larger and larger share of jobs since 1950.
3. It does not include ever-increasing taxation on working income, such as social security/healthcare taxes, often sold to idiots as "taxes on employers" but of course 100% of which come out of employee compensation
4. It does not account for the incredible wage-suppressing effect on the bottom of the income pyramid by effectively doubling the low-end labor force thanks to equal rights
5. It does not account for the incredible wage-suppressing effect on the bottom of the income pyramid of mass immigration

It's absolute poisonous bullshit, fed to you by people who hate you and want you to ruin your own life.

What these guys will never tell you is that the reason they preach this is because they imagine they’re β€œworking” when they show up to professionally catered mingle events where they’ll receive a reward.

The key to wealth is working equity, in property or business. Yes, that demands work but not necessarily very hard or very long work. These guys are just liars because they know wages are stickied at market while the hours they can squeeze out of any one wage paid isn’t. The more they preach this shit, the more their management team works round the clock, the richer they get. They are speaking not to the public but rather to their c-suite who hang on to every word out of their mouths to please them.

No, faggot, YOU don't understand how anything works. So let me explain how it works to you because you're extremely fucking midwitted to type out all of this amazingly wrong shit:

You go to work, produce a great deal of value, and then rich assholes take 9/10 of that value while they do nothing all day except play Candy Crush. Your rich asshole boss then gets off of work and goes to bang 14 year old girls and snort coke off their asses while throwing you in jail for doing the same thing. You go home and hear on the news that inflation has gone up another 500,000%, therefore nullifying the raise you got last week. But your rich asshole boss is friends with the guys who own the money printers, so this doesn't concern him. Unsatisfied with this arrangement, you go look for another job, except the CEOs of every other company in your industry all know each other and play golf together, during which they collude to lower employee wages and lobby Congress to bring in more foreigners to depress wages even more.

Then you get to work the next day and your boss tells you to get on your knees and suck his fucking cock. And you do it because you're a fucking slave. God bless America.

Hes actually right but because he didnt include a few asterisks to elaborate on what he is talking about or at least what it seems he is from my perspective.

He means spend your youth working investing and making as much money as you can so in the long term you can stop working forever.

Time is money after all and the older you get the less time you have to make money so to compensate you should work more. In other words "get while the gettings good".

Once youre over 30 or so this advice no longer applies but if youre in your 20s you should be working your ass off so you wont have to in your old age when its a lot harder to handle it

The problem is the job market has been so diluted since the 1960s with functionally worthless service jobs and Jew daycare that the "average" today has been dragged down into the cellar. The average worker in 1970 did not work at McDonald's. People with productive jobs, which were the average in 1970, are still doing pretty well in relative terms of living and in absolute terms of living are doing better than their counterpart 55 years ago could've dreamed of. That said, their compensation has been also hit hard by stealth taxation and retarded policy like mass migration.

It's insane. Those sort of jobs were barely worth having, and in terms of social services consumed vs tax revenue generated are literally net fiscal negative for society, but we have them because we recognize that it's in society's interest to have youth get training wheels experience in how a modern economy functions. It's an investment in the future.

Now we've got adults doing them and trying to support themselves on these fake jobs that were never intended for that purpose, then demanding huge wage increases for their net-negative jobs so they can afford to live on them, which makes them nearly economically impossible to hire. Which then causes terrified corpos to get their whore pet politicians to flood the country with low-skill wage to try to crush those adults. Which then sends rents and crime sky-high and creates an absolutely massive drain on social services and now nobody at the bottom of the income pyramid can afford to live AND now the kids can't get job experience because who would hire an unreliable 16-year-old with no work history at $15 an hour when he can hire literally any adult with a resume, even if it's Hamid or Ranjesh

>alternative facts
No, they're just facts. Even if you're flipping burgers, hourly pay is just a part of your total compensation. You just don't think about it. Health insurance, pension benefits, stock matching, all of these are part of your compensation. They cost money. If your company does per diem, paid vacation, company cars, or similar perks, that's again compensation that isn't caught by hourly. Same with "employer matching" for FICA taxes -- where do you think that money is coming from?
>hur duh employer pays it
No, you do. Same with all the above. But it doesn't show up on your paycheck.

You're not only clueless, but you actually have a worldview designed by Jews to get you to ruin your life. Your boss is not your friend, but he's also not your enemy. Your enemy is the one who's convinced you you're a victim of the entire world

Jeff Bezos's whole business story is a fabrication, his grandfather was one of the founders of DARPA, his family knew about ARPANET before anybody else and told him exactly how to monetize it.

This is the greatest commie cope ever.
>well if someone would just give me a million dollars I'd be a billionaire!!!
No, you wouldn't. Dozens of people become millionaires every year through lotteries. None of them start billion-dollar companies. Are you suggesting that this proves the lottery doesn't exist?
>Yet there is no such class of young millionaires. There isn't even a single example you could name.
I mean I'm reasonably young and a multimillionaire, and I became so from drilling money, so I can name one.

If you are going to run your own business, you are probably going to work over 40 hours a week.

Can't really see the argument for a regular ham and egger employee doing it though.

Bezos has no concept of not working. It's the way he and a lot of successful people are built and they're as happy as a pig in shit. If he dies in a hospital bed, looking at a stock-ticker and inking a deal, he'll die happy.

Get a real fucking job, Jesus Christ. I hit the job market in 2008-9, back when Starbucks was demanding a university degree to pour coffee. I got a job as drill crew, which you can do right now. They are always hiring and they pay big money because the washout rate is about 90%
If you can get your panties unbunched then go back and read what I wrote again - you can't compare your make-work job at Walgreens, where hourly is 75%+ of total compensation, to a real job that produces value and thus gets perks. Health insurance is expensive as fuck but it doesn't count as hourly compensation. 401k match costs money but it doesn't count as hourly compensation. PTO costs money but it doesn't count as hourly compensation. FICA taxes cost money but they don't count as hourly compensation. That chart you lazy commie fucks like to show everyone is bullshit.
>Not reading any of the rest of your shill bullshit.
Stay poor, I don't give a fuck. But don't seethe about how you provide no value and get no money in return as if that's somehow unfair.
