3. Balance sheet stress requires stronger liquidity requirements i.e better net stable funding ratios and liquidity coverage ratios. Either banks are willingly gearing themselves up or they are being coerced by macroprudential regulation from the central bank. Putin's aide Ushakov has made public the Russian version of the conversation between President Trump and Putin.

The conversation lasted nearly two and a half hours and "was very substantive and extremely frank and confidential," Ushakov said.

Particular emphasis was placed on the Ukrainian crisis: the Russian president assessed the situation and expressed Russia's interest in achieving a peaceful political and diplomatic settlement.

According to Ushakov, Putin noted that Russia holds the strategic initiative, while the Kiev regime resorts to terrorist methods, to which Russia is forced to respond.

Trump, in turn, repeatedly emphasized the need to quickly establish peace in Ukraine, Ushakov noted. The idea that the Russian-Ukrainian conflict has proven to be the most difficult was evident throughout the conversation, the Russian presidential aide added. The US President pointed out that ending the conflict would open up enormous prospects for cooperation.

The conversation also touched on the issue of possible supplies of long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, Ushakov said. Putin reiterated that they would not change the situation on the battlefield, but would cause significant damage to relations between the two countries.

The heads of state also discussed the possibility of holding a new meeting, according to the Russian presidential aide. An agreement was reached that representatives of the two countries would immediately begin preparing for the meeting, which could take place, for example, in Budapest.

The contact was "very useful," and the two leaders agreed to stay in touch, Ushakov added.

Nine-year-old Solomiia finally hugged her mom, Marichka, for the first time in three years. She had last seen Marichka in January 2022. Solomiia spent over three years living under Russian occupation in southern Ukraine with her grandma, whom she calls Bunia.

Solomiia's grandma hid her from Russian soldiers to prevent her deportation. She even obtained a Russian passport and spoke Russian. But at home, Bunia secretly taught her granddaughter Ukrainian.

In June 2025, Save Ukraine helped evacuate them to Ukrainian-controlled territory. At first, Solomiia did not recognize her mom, but then she hugged her tightly.

"The girl I remember before the war and the one I see now - well, they feel like two different people. Before the war, she was a happy, curious, active child. Now she’s more guarded. Solomiia can’t explain her wishes and desires. I’m learning from my mom how to understand my daughter," Marichka shared.

Now Solomiia goes to school and is gradually learning to feel safe. In August, her grandma returned to the occupied territory - to her home, which she could not leave permanently.

Ukrainian medics from the 3rd Army Corps, while on leave in the UK, saved a man who was involved in a traffic accident.

The medics with the call signs "Sofiia," "Mivina," and "Rebecka" had arrived in London for the presentation of a biographical film as part of the VARTA project.

They were passing by in a taxi when they witnessed the accident. The ladies immediately stopped the car and rushed to help - they stopped the bleeding, applied a bandage, and monitored the man's vital signs until an ambulance arrived.

The man sustained serious injuries, but the Ukrainian medics managed to stabilize him on the spot.
