There are several major religions, and they don't agree. In what kind of world can you see the human influence in all of them but one? No matter which one you choose, the rest of the heretics are going to hell, because they believe something else, and it's not a wishy-washy belief; they'll kill you for questioning it, so how is it possible that one of them got things right, and the rest of the world would die or kill because they believe otherwise, but one of them is 100% correct?
I never question if someone wants to believe there's meaning to all of this, but FFS, subscribing to a religion is just subscribing to a culture. You've adopted a homeowner's association for your body, soul and morality.
