Doxing is not illegal. It is only illegal when the information being doxxed is protected information (social security number, credit card information, etc) or used to harass the individual

I'd say it's ok if what you are doing on the interweb has any relevant bearing on your IRL, so if you say, "i want to have sexo with underage girls", and you find out he is a school teacher. Maybe someone says, "I am a doctor", you could say well you're not you are Fred Smith forklift operator etc.
