I know OP is a baiting disingenuous faggot, however, I used to live in a state that offered no expanded medicaid coverage (meaning it was for people on social security only)
When I was 19 I got a benign tumor that fortunately wasn't cancer but could turn into it if not treated. The surgery was also complex and required grafts. I had no insurance and no coverage under my parents either. I ended up getting a "half measure" surgery and they sent me a bill for over $20,000 which I ignored and never paid. In the end I had to move to a different state entirely where there was expanded medicaid to be able to get the full surgery I needed.

I'm sure there are countless cases just like this one. Hospitals in these states probably have billions of dollars of unpaid medical debt that will never be paid or acknowledged. /pol/ seems to prefer this, and would probably prefer if people in my situation just died from their treatable medical conditions rather than have taxes pay for it. Personally I will always have sympathy for people that need medicaid. Except for states that let illegals apply for it. Fuck them.
