Why do morons keep repeating this lie?
China cannot produce 300x more warships. Think of what this would mean. Where are the resources coming from? How long does it take to build a sea worthy warship? How many do they have now (less than 400) and how does that number bolster this idiotic narrative? China entered an era of expansion, but like their ghost cities they don't have the qualified personnel to man the stations. So even their woefully inadequate ship yards are doomed to be dismantled. You idiots seem to forget that a very small minority of the Chinese population is actual warrior class, while the US has one of the largest, if not the largest in the world, and no I am not including nogs and women. Chinese males are just not built for it.
98% of China's shipyards can't build a ship larger than a medium sized commercial fishing vessel, which is where you jackasses get their alleged capacity from. The US does not count these types of shipyards among warship building facilities, China does. The US Coast Guard alone could defeat the majority of existing Chinese naval vessels. Speaking of which, the majority of Chinese vessels.
Keep these things in mind: US ship building capacity is no less than it was in WWII. During this time the US produced nearly 3000 ships in 4 years. That's ~8 times the size of the current Chinese navy in 4 years. We have slightly fewer ship yards (not really a problem) but far better methods of building them, more resources, and all producing higher quality ships. But you idiots seem to think that current pace is the only pace the US can operate at. We don't even operate at 10% of the speed we're capable.
In the coming years the US has several new facilities coming online. These will be heavily fortified and each capable of producing dozens of new ships per year, including the new fully autonomous drone ships. Due to the nature of US geography, these ship yards are essentially unassailable. The same is not true for China.
