You are ignorant as to what it means to be American. You will go to work alone. All your coworkers will be unbelievably mean to you and refuse to socialize with you. You will go home alone. All your neighbors hate your guts and will refuse to speak to you. You will go out to a bar and everyone you try to talk with will ignore you or be mean to you. You will regularly be attacked by random men. Even though you were beaten at the bar, maybe shot at, you can't miss a single hour of work, because everything is so expensive, you'll be on the streets if anything goes even slightly wrong. I don't agree with this premise. You can find antecedents for Christian values and philosophy in pre-Christian Europe. Some of our founding fathers were deists, a lot of Enlightenment figures weren't Christian. And while the Enlightenment wasn't perfect, a lot of good came from it.

This will be an unpopular opinion, but the simple answer is that most people with ambition and intelligence (red, blue, or anything else) are going to be career-focused, and they're going to go where they can best build their career. In most cases, that's going to be a large city like New York, which tend to be deep blue. However, there are a handful of cities that either traditionally a conservative majority (e.g. Oklahoma City) or have at least one veritable conservative stronghold despite overall voting liberal (e.g. Salt Lake City, due to Mormons). I recommend that as a starting point.

That doesn't mean that Jesus is God. I have no antipathy to Christianity. I think its philosophy is unique and compatible with the native worldview of Europeans, but none of these are arguments for the truth of Jesus. I don't think Christianity is bad, I just don't think it's true. And many of the greatest Western achievements were by non-Christian people.
