I don’t want to pay for someone else’s rent. I can make coffee at home, eat food at home, enjoy hobbies at home.
Want social interaction? I go to a friends house, going to a friends house is free. I don’t want a barcade, I have a game console. I don’t want a movie theatre, I have a tv. I don’t want a library, I have more books on my kindle than I can ever read. I don’t want a gym, I have my own sports equipment.

I grew up in the city. Spent 30 years in urban setting. Then I grew up and just wanted peace and quiet. Got married, bought 5 acres, dogs could run, had kids, they can run, chickens and garden to grow vegetables. Might sound boring but it is natural progression to want peace and quiet as you get older. If you are 35 or older still living in the city you are likely a liberal.

Why would I want to walk everywhere? If I'm going somewhere, a car will be faster and easier no matter how much you design the city around walking or public transit. If I want to lift something I'll go to the gym instead of walking home with heavy bags of groceries.
I'm not saying this as a slob who's incapable of walking further than the fridge. I'm admittedly a little out of shape but not to the point walking hurts or whatever. I enjoy walking and do it at least an hour a day with my dog. I just don't want to waste time walking if I need to get somewhere when a car is faster.
Public transit sucks too. It can mathematically never be as fast as a car, even if it takes a direct route, which it almost never does, because it has to stop every block or 2 to let people on and off. Also, if you're on a schedule you'll have to wait for your appointment when you're there because the bus schedule will almost never line up with yours.
All of this isn't even getting to the nigger aspect or the fact that walkable cities would basically be open air prisons.
What we really need is drivable cities. Fuck pedestrians. Fuck public transport. Cities must be optimized for driving efficiency at all costs.

I love my area of Appalachia. I bought 10 acres at very reasonable cost. My property is in an area that is mostly national forest and for that reason is very lightly populated. A 200 acre state wildlife sanctuary borders my western property line. Appalachia has a moderate climate, lush vegetation, abundant sunshine and rainfall. We have strong storms that bring heavy rain that quickly pass leading to sunny days. These strong passing storms provide us ample rain while allowing a high percentage of sun during the day. Portions of Appalachia are designated as temperate rain forest.
Appalachia has a tremendous amount of freshwater streams and rivers enabling an abundance of fish and wildlife, including large game such as white tail deer, feral pigs and black bears.
Appalachia also has a rugged, independent, even rebellious population. Appalachia's rugged terrain, moderate climate, abundant fresh water and game make it a perfect area for the guerrilla war fighter.
There are many reasons that US Army Green Berets and Rangers retire to Appalachia. It is a place that calls people steeped in guerrilla warfare home.

The opposition to the concept of 15 minute cities comes from the legacy industrial base: Oil and car and insurance companies although objection to the concept of urban living due to the surveilance state is also legitimate

The optimal design for a community resembles a college campus with ample parking at the periphery (which isn't free) and a core that can only be navigated by walking or biking

This excludes the unfit through hostile architecture and by not wasting valuable real estate accomadating disgusting beetus roastie pollution with an endless sea of concrete you can devote all of it to building cool things like a food court, the Matterhorn, and Hoover Tower

I mean, it sucks you live in Finland where there's nothing to do but find some warm spot to occupy like a lizard or spider monkey or make your own operating system but in places with enough going on to draw a crowd it's public transit that's way faster and more convenient

this is actually kinda complicated and there's a few reasons. firstly, niggers exist, obviously. but then, walkability itself is something that grows organically out of traditional urban design. "traditional" being the operative word there. a thing that got banished from our culture by autistic communist jews in the early 1900s as a form of psywar on the west (amalek). lastly the concept of walkability is being used as a rebrand for the WEF 15-minute cities project. the idea sounds great- have everything you need within a 15 minute walking radius around where you live. but when they've attempted pilot programs of this, they build zero new amenities people might need near their home, and simply set up a complicated surveillance control grid to tax you into not leaving your 15-minute zone. it works hand-in-glove with ULEZ type projects where they set up bollards and block roads and scan license plates to charge you whenever you drive. eventually they want you chugging cockroach milkshakes and bugburgers in your pod, locked away in your 15 minute zone, with no chance of travel or escape because you ran out of carbon credits after you ate a steak once for your birthday.
so while i actually love trad urbanism and architecture and feel a revival would be one one of the best possible things for the west, i do not want to ban cars nor live in a good goy pod nor eat the bugs.
