Columbia Center Blvd is one of the busiest roads in the Kennewick, and the mall has one of the biggest parking lots. Pretty sure over in Richland they did it in the park right outside all the government buildings

there were also booths with posterboard, markers, construction paper, etc. to make signs there. You could also drop off your sign in a box when you leave for other people to use. But yeah lots of hand made signs
