And no, it doesn't go both ways. Republican policies are unpopular, democrat policies are popular. Everytime Republicans try their criminal shit they just piss more people off. If Republicans got a Congress without a filibuster and tried stupid shit, then people will be in the streets (see No Kings). Democrats though can use a filibusterless congress tonream Republicans (nuke the Supreme Court, end gerrymandering, end religious tax exemption, put consumer and environmental protection back in place, end qualifed immunity and prosecute shitty cops, instill ranked choice voting and voting protections, remove Fox News from the air, etc).
Republicans are braindead for piggybacking off Trump. Probably the dumbest political move in history, especially since Trump is a mere senile white collar thief who doesn't know shit about shit.
