im a nurse, during the covid pandemic people kept screamed at me for oxygen tanks. i kept trying to tell them that it was just like the flu and oxygen tanks were not necessary. we had lots of people die but there is no proof it was covid.

A lot of the deaths were because instead of using what works the medical associations banned the use of horse dewormers, fish tank cleaners, and antibiotics. 99% of COVID-19 deaths were preventable with just three tablets. Since they didnt know how the disease spread, the first order was to automatically put anyone suspected of having it on a resperator/ventilator system. Before the pandemic, these devices were usually called something more dramatic: life support. Life support is typically used in as a last ditch effort to keep someone alive because the problem with the technology is that it is very dangerous to use, especially long term, since the process of sticking plastic tubes and manually pumping oxygen into them has a tendency to lead to devistating infections. But the government said: since we dont know how this disease spreads, directly connect them to their own oxygen supply and isolate them from the rest of the population. So conscious people were stuck on ventilators en mass. These machines are not designed for that kind of use, they have to be carefully calibrated and adjusted for the patient. But they werent, because hospitals were just rushing to hook people up to them as per government instructions. The result? People's lungs started exploding, and doctors would walk in to find 'virus victims' with exploded lungs, blood dripping out of every oriface of their bodies. The knee jerk reaction was COVID WAS MAKING YOUR LUNGS EXPLODE and people started freaking the fuck out as the news media ran with this lie for almost 2 months. It was wasnt until some whistle blower doctors said 'hold up, wait a minute, how can a respitory illness EXPLODE your lungs with great force? Why is it only happening in hospitals?' Afterwards, everyone slowly forgot about the the exploding lungs, but the fear remained.

My grandfather was in an old folks home and he died from "covid" despite having multiple heart attacks and all kinds of health issues before covid even set in. He was going to die in 2020 regardless but he tested positive so he officially died of covid.
I got "covid" because the minute clinic made me get a test or they'd charge me $250 out of pocket for a strep throat test. I didn't even have any covid symptoms and I'm almost positive it was strep because I get sick like once every 5 years and it's always strep.
My roommate was vaxxed and got covid 3 times, I quarantined with him and never got sick.

But it was hard to get HCQ because it required a prescription and doctors were told not to prescribe it. Covid was literally a cold virus not a flu virus. A cold virus is tiny and incredibly easy to be infected by, so before Covid a cold was considered inevitable but fortunately never dangerous. So a killer cold virus was a horrifying prospect. (Now we know that HCQ and ivermectin both cure colds, which is why they can cure Covid.)

Any cold virus including Covid goes right thru those paper masks, so all the masks could do was to slow the speed of your exhalation and maybe trap some air in your spit, so you would exhale less virus. But gave you no protection, I think.

If it had been a flu virus, flu is harder to catch and is big enough the masks could actually have mattered.

I find these sorts of posts baffling. I was working in healthcare at the time, and it doesn't match my experience & observations at all. We were having meetings all the time in the leadup & initial stages of the outbreak, and I'd already been following the stories from China, so I took it pretty seriously and started masking before it was even mandated since I was in a public-facing position, but it quickly became apparent that it was significantly overblown. We had a lot of cases --supposedly; I still suspect they just started referring to flu as covid-- but nothing terribly serious and few deaths. In the beginning the CDC reps told us that some of us would likely be getting sick ourselves and that we'd probably all know someone who would die, but it never happened. They were assigned to us to monitor case counts & contact traces for months, and it started to feel a bit silly as 2020 wore on --particularly when the George Floyd riots erupted without any spike in cases. Had it been a real pandemic, you wouldn't need to be told how serious it was, because you'd be able to see it yourself. E.g., if we were living through the Black Death, you wouldn't be content to continue your life as usual just because you wore a cloth mask and kept six feet away from everyone. In a real pandemic like in Contagion, the economy would grind to a halt all by itself as businesses self-shuttered and employees stopped showing up out of genuine fear. In my opinion it was all theater & performance, a test run for shadowy powers to observe how people would behave in an engineered global crisis.

It was pretty much a nothing burger from my experience. And I am including my family and my cousins and their families and my aunts and uncles. I think my brother caught it in 2023 but he had a fever for one day. Nothing crazy. As for work, it was pretty much as usual but with less traffic so that was fun. China also had a fuck ton of videos of lines of people around the corner for the hospital and people having seizures and dropping dead in the streets, along with wielding people into their homes. Once the virus hit here we had none of that (in a country with a relatively free internet and social media it would have been all over) and videos from China like that were suddenly memoryholed.
Really I think Covid was basically nothing major but all the countries around the world were trying to psyop each other into thinking it was so they'd do damage to their economies and piss off the population. Its hard for me to accept it being as bad as portrayed. I live in a city, and would expect to see a greater number of ambulances making trips to pick up the fallen, but I didn't observe that. I also didn't hear of anyone I know who died or had any problems. And I didn't take the vaccine, got sick briefly, and didn't suffer all that much. Which isn't notable, but I'm not a particularly healthy guy. I'm precisely the type that should have suffered, but didn't.

Then again, I'm a loner so its possible I just didn't notice. Nonetheless, it all feels fake to me.

Mixed samples outside in industrial chemical resistant sleeve gloves and military gas mask with surgical masks over filter to not get filters contaminated.

The problem with covid was the strains had massively different outcomes. The very first strain was the most deadly, it was straight from the biolab, it warranted to the panic. Every mutation afterwards deviated to the mean which ment it got less severe.

The survival rate was 99,97% and the average age of covid fatalities WITH all the false positives of younger people included, was 78 years old.
The only casualties it can claim are elderly people in retirement homes, but in a way it can't claim them because lockdown forced those people to stay indoors for months, which meant they were getting NO SUNLIGHT and that means their immune system, already frail of age, collapsed.
The masks didn't stop the spread of anything except fear.
