There's no way trump would let them get away with making that, or them having enough to do it with the tariffs.

there is nothing trump could ever do to china to make them care
and the whole world would come down on the US if they dropped a single bomb on china.

The point of the bomber is to increase the missile's range without having to make the missile bigger (and thus more expensive). Essentially, the bomber is a reusable first stage for the missile.

Another (differently painted) one was caught on satellite imagery recently. It is about the same size as the American B-21, so presumably it has similar range and is similarly equipped with in-flight refueling capability

Well yes, hence why this type of aircraft shape is called "cranked kite". However, the aircraft in the video looks a bit too fat to be an actual kite. It could be a CGI hoax, hence why I wrote "allegedly"

Those rockets depend on extensive, highly vulnerable launch sites. Also, they take days to prepare for flight, and cannot remain on stand-by due to cryogenic propellant boiling.

An aircraft can remain fueled on stand-by for a long time and can take off on a moment's notice. Also, it's relatively easy to repair a runway.

It's likely deliberate. There have been a ton of "leaks" of pictures of new Chinese military aircraft over the past 11 months. The Chinese military seems to want to show off their new toys.

Approximate equivalent. The fact that the Chinese one has a "cranked kite" shape, which enables longer payload bays without having to increase the aircraft size, suggests that the Chinese one is optimized for launching missiles rather than dropping bombs

What the payload? Doesn't look big. A bomb would lower it's stealth as it has nowhere to hide it.

China believes that slow subsonic bombers are not safe anymore. Which is why they went with a drone. Their manned stealth bomber is expected to be faster in order to survive.

"drones in orbit"
Those are called satellites, and many countries have been launching them for many decades

In case you're referring to the X-37B, well, that's just a type of reusable cargo-carrier for testing materials and technologies in space and then bringing the samples back. The Chinese have also had a military one for years, and soon they're going to have a civilian one (Haolong)

These Chinese bombers are probably mainly intended for nuclear deterrence by launching nuclear missiles at CONUS from the Arctic after refueling over Russian airspace. Although they might also be intended for interdiction of CONUS-Japan maritime routes after refueling over fKamchatka
