He's a politician and a businessman misdirection and political sleight of hand are par for the course with quite literally all of them.
This doesn't look like psychological issues to me, Biden is what psychological issues looks like, Trump is rude, loud, abrasive, unapologetic, stubborn, arrogant, and unceasingly confident, these are personality flaws absolutely no argument there, but they're not an indication of mental illness, just of what sort of person you are, and they're most certainly not an indication of incompetence, there are ways each of these traits can work to both his advantage and disadvantage in almost any situation.
I honestly agree that Zelensky is not going to capitulate the Donbas, not in a million years, Putin knows this, which means he knows he's going to have to use every tool in his toolbox, every trick in his book if he's going to win this, and that includes nukes, he's already thought this through.
I don't know enough about Zelensky to say whether he's thought this through or not, I don't know what kind of man he is, or what sort of leader he is, I just know he's fighting and isn't planning on giving up.
All this means that left to their own devices, Zelensky will keep fighting, and Russia will keep losing troops and equipment, until eventually their losses become so great and attack on Russia's interior by Ukraine likely can and will justify the usage of nukes in Russia's view, I think Trump knows this, knows that its now a terrifyingly close possibility which he may have little time to do something about, and if it comes to pass, there will be nothing he can do to stop what comes next, which is a potential all out nuclear war.
I think this possibility terrifies him, It most certainly does me, I don't wanna die in a nuclear winter but i don't want Ukraine to be subjugated either, they're their own country and should remain so. But if Russia presses the issue and goes nuclear, there will be no turning back for any of us.
