The first modern mainstream hatred of India occurred on November, 20 1997 in "The Betrayal" episode episode of the NBC sitcom Seinfeld. A television show produced by a Jewish creator and starring another Jewish actor. Do you think this just a coincidence, or was it part of a long term plan to generate racial hatred amongst non-Jews?

Do you think they used actors of Indian descent to express this idea in order to make the racial hatred acceptable to the audience?

Yeah nobody thought much of it at the time, but 30 years later people would be sharing viral videos of Indians eating feces, and that just wouldn't have been possible without this old sitcom.

I sense sarcasm but this was the most popular show by a large margin and it planted a seed in the heads of an entire generation that hatred of Indians was both socially acceptable and humorous. The same thing happening to an African country for example would be seen as completely inappropriate.

It wasn't just Indians either. The Pakistani character Babu Bhatt was also a recurring target of the same thing. When Seinfeld convinced him to serve Pakistani food at his restaurant of course his business failed. A later episode used his being deported back to Pakistan as a source of humour.
