I was on full academic + hardship scholarship for high school, then full academic + stipend for uni but also worked several lab and TA jobs while an undergrad.

I had friends like me with no money but also no academic scholarships that just FAFSA and needs-based maxxed. anyone can go to uni if you are smart enough to go for free, OR dont mind debt-maxxing.

but yea for all strata, our age group got railed.
