No.. thats not how it works. There is no "gun registry" except in like a couple states. The feds record that background check. And the form signed. Which all states have to comply with. The feds( ATF ) know every single gun that everyone buys and the serial numbers. Its just not a "registry". Thats misnomer. When the states sell you a gun it doesn't look up your name in any kinda registry. Its a computerized background check. Thats all it is.
Also I think there are a couple of states that do have some kinda registry. I think it might be california and New York. But thats separate from the feds.
