No. It's a popular conspiracy but there has never been a case of meaningful voting fraud. American elections are heavily monitored. The closest we've come is Trump calling a governor to "find" some votes in 2020 or a polling place or two finding errors in an insubstantial amount.
There's also Bush in Florida back in 2000 which is questionable, but in both cases it was Republicans taking action afterwards instead of "live" voting fraud.

I had zero clue that people in The US could even vote without being a US citizen before they started talking about this some years ago. Yeah I have family in The US who told me about this. That some couple down the street where they lived where the mother of the woman living there was dead over a year before voting, and she could vote for her. So long story short, they voted them togheter and gave her dead mothers vote also.

When we vote here we get either an email that we have recieved info on our government site, and/or recieve a letter in the mail that we can vote.
When we show up to vote we have to walk into a voting booth, and then walk out with who we vote for, and deliver that along with ID. The ID need to be either a passport showing name, social security number etc so they can write that down, or an ID in form of a card sent to you by government (usually police stations give you the ID and passport)
If you dont have that with you, you wont be able to vote.

I dont know how the procedure is in The US, but the easiest thing would probably be having an ID that gov actually send out to every US Citizen over 18, unless you have a passport. And then on voting day, have something that will scan that passport or ID so it is automatically registered without any possibility for voting fraud with machines or whatever.

I have seen videos online with people with hidden camera just walking into voting (this was in California) and asking if they didnt need an ID to the people who recieve who you vote for. And they said that it was not needed there and that they trusted them. So you know its just silly.
Voting is for the people that is a citizen of that country period and no one else. I would not be happy with non norwegian citizens voting here either.
If democrats or whatever need fake votes to win, then they are doing a way to bad job to win. Then its their job to do the right things so people will vote for them, and show to the people that their votes was worth it. Thats my view on it.

"Proving" your citizenship in this bill will undoubtedly make you jump through a plethora of hoops.

Jumping through those hoops will impede minorities the most from voting because they're more likely to be impoverished and can't afford to take time off work to get an ID from the state, birth certificate from the hospital they were born in, etc.
