I’m going to tell you guys something that will definitely make you all super jealous.
One of my buddies in high school worked in a pharmacy in our cute lil downtown square. His father owned the pharmacy. One day while my friend is outside scraping paint off the side wall, he uncovers what appears to be a Coca Cola advertisement. It appears to be very old. The pharmacy in question had been in their family since the 1800s. And so it was that they contacted the Coca Cola Company, right down the road in Atlanta to see if they were interested in it.
Boy were they ever! It turns out, this sign went back to when Coca Cola was HQd in Chattanooga. The town I grew up in is almost exactly half way between Chattanooga and Atlanta. Anyway, after some research, they determined that this sign was the very first advertisement that Coca Cola ever purchased.
It was a very big deal. I worked at the tennis shop right across the street helping very cute milfs try on tennis skirts and tennis shoes and stringing their rackets…but everything stopped the day they unveiled the renovated Coca Cola sign. The television news was there, the Atlanta Journal Constitution was there…govt officials were there..:coca cola executives were there.
And everyone got a free Coca Cola!

I think the cancer stuff is in total bullshit. I think its easy convertability to hard drugs and the fact that it was being irresponsibly overharvested were the reasons for the ban. Birch beer is said to be delicious as well. So many tree saps/syrups have incredible properties. It’s strange that it’s such a neglected subject when you start to understand how useful these saps/syruos can be. Supposedly black walnut makes an incredible syrup as well.
