Everything is globalised now, so everything is massively competitive, people who can't compete are falling further and further behind.

The competition has increased in every possible way. Not just high end things that people care about, but even on the lowest of the lowest end of things, like playing video games online.

Back in the day your competition for everything was locked to your location, now it's unlocked, and your competition is the entire planet.

Everyone has access to tons of information, making it near impossible to have an information edge over other people. For example, your dad needs to be the President of the United States so you can LONG/SHORT the market knowing he's going to be posting something online that will cause panic selling or fomo buying.

Basically everything is INSANELY competitive and you're depressed, scared, alone, and watching yourself get dominated and wrecked by the successful people, and your hormones are being effected due to your feelings causing Low T which is hurting your ability to compete even more.

The world you grew up in no longer exists

>good old days
The "good old days" fallacy is the flawed belief that a past era was better, simpler, or happier than the present, often due to nostalgia and "rosy retrospection" which selectively recalls positive memories while downplaying or forgetting negative ones. This fallacy is also known as the "golden age fallacy" and can be fueled by romanticizing the past through a filtered or curated lens.

these are the good days.
It could be nice to spend a week twenty years ago, but, would want to get back here after that.

Twenty years ago, if I wanted to drink, for example, I'd go out. Today I just get out of bed, start drinking and chat with the entire world.

yea, also forgot to mention how cheap solid old cars were. and everything felt cleaner and safer, even in the city. not many random psychos around. locals would kick them out of town or police would do it. knew all the other kids from the local schools when we worked all the hardware store jobs and ice cream parlor and local burger and bar places.

knew owners (often local parents), all that. would run random errands if need be. "oh hey anon, Sherry was looking for you, I think she biked to then [burger place] after her shift with the others." "sure, thanks.. want me to bring u back something?"

now every fucking place is just run by random adults from out of town, and in cities it's jeets and shit from not even this country.

it sucks how the tech started off good. my university was one of the first to get it, and I was in grad school. was all for finding girls in my uni to fuck or from nearby unis, for also finding parties, and for uploading party and random goofy pics from those sony digital cameras that fit in your pocket.

iPhone was the beginning of the end but that first year or two of it was neat... fast texting and maps on it were cool. early foursquare was fun. but flip phones and sliders before the iPhone were more than good enough for shit.

Yup. The internet used to be a male dominated sphere, with maybe a few savvy females who mingled in, but knew not to rock the boat too much to not lose their audience for whatever blog they were on.
Enter fagbook and the iToddlers. Attention seeking whormie (whore/normie) females were given instant and unfettered web access to farm for likes and reactions from thirsty niggers and normie men who were now beginning to populate the web.
You no longer had to have any web navigation knowledge or prowess, you just had to go to fagbook and yuck it up with your normie friends, and now we have boomers liking and sharing ai slop because they're retards and women making OF and showing their buttholes for $4.99/ month.
