No. AI and bots will take over commenting and posting on all public websites. There's obviously a huge amount of reddit that is just bots. That's part of the reason Vine/TikTok became popular, because a bit couldn't create videos...until now. The AI/bot activity will be ramped up to the point it makes social media unusable by design. And the people addicted to social media will beg for Digital ID to be implemented to weed them out, while the rest of humanity won't give a shit.
In the very near future, everyone will start using the internet like their grandparents do: Just to keep in touch with people you know in real life and to supplement your life by looking up how to fix shit, recipes etc.
Public discussion forums will only continue to exist if Digital ID is implemented. If it isn't, that shit will go away.
An app/website will come along that will allow you to subscribe just to certain friend/family/community groups. Digital ID won't be needed because you already know everyone in one everyone in real life. This app will allow you to do things like text, video chat etc. in bigger groups, get together and watch shared events/movies etc. It will be more like hanging out in real life than what social media is.
And Facebook/X/Instagram all of that shit will be killed by bots, unless digital ID is implemented. You'll have Elon, Zuckerberg, congressmen stating it's absolutely necessary. But it's not. They just want to keep their companies profitable.
So, it's either use the internet like your grandparents. And use it in the way everyone figured it would be used back in the 90s. Or submit to Digital ID.
Only social media companies and the whores addicted to it will clamor for Digital ID. Let them know that they don't speak for real, actual people. You can not submit it to it.
