Trump is driven by personal engrandizement.
He isn't really interested in reaching peace anywhere in the world, all he wants is to leave a legacy as a "peacemaker" but he's failing to solve any of the conflicts in the world long-term.

Why? Because if you'd be interested in long-term real peace in any region, you'd first try to study and understand the causes of conflict.
He doesn't do that. And USA as a whole doesn't do that. Neither does NATO nor EU do it.

The only major powers interested in causes of conflict are Russia, China, India.
What does this mean? It means that the collective West has both:

Studying is impossible right now because the west doesn't value the study of logic and reason, nor scientifically proven facts; no matter if they're young, old, rich, poor, left, right, center, politician or citizen. Literal adults right now don't even know what critical thinking is as a life-skill. Our citizens think that thinking with emotions is a strength, and commonly deny that the most simple premise of A+B=C. Magic and emotions are inserted into everything, from trooning to religion; fundamental facts of reality are disregarded and claimed as heresy to their group. The west are nations of complete fucking retards. To say we should "study and learn " is to expect us to already know how to learn period. Both our children and young adults here in the US can't even read clocks nor do basic math or multiplication. Their attention span is less than 30 seconds, and they're all addicted to some drug, from fast food, to smoking, to SSRI's and big pharma. I'm afraid it's just simply asking for too much.
