I had SSRI Activation Syndrome
I’ve made a few posts on this. TLDR I was given an SSRI (anti depressant). Instead of it slowly helping me leave depression over months I felt like had drank 20 coffees was stressed the fuck out and had manic like symptoms. Super energetic, shaking body couldn’t sleep etc

I had to go to hospital and was given Valium etc

Apparently it’s likely I had a condition called SSRI activation syndrome where by an SSRI activates something akin to bipolar mania combined with extreme stress.

Try googling the condition. For some reason very little info about it exists I unironically thinks Its being covered up because apparently a few % of people who take SSRI get it. It’s not some one in a million thing but no one talks about it being a risk.

I get really stressed out and angry, impulsive when I have to initiate a SSRI cycle. It's easy to piss me off, like niggers being loud, people being obnoxious.

I wonder how our ancestors survived without all these molecules...

Do not take them, never, instead ask yourself what you don't like in your life and try to remove it to make your environment better.

Antidepressants are snake oil and they don't even know how they really work. It's total bullshit.

In case you're too fucked up to carry on, ask your doctor about a mood stabilizer instead of any of the three SSRIs. Or another class of antidepressants that are not SSRIs. Only you know the size of your suffering, anon. Peace.

You're welcome. Some antidepressants are very effective, but not SSRIs. One of them is Agomelatine, which is sold under the names Valdoxan and Thymanax. If you want, you can ask your doctor about it and other classes. Bupropion, sold under the name Wellbutrin, is effective for some people. Both Agomelatine and Buproprion are examples of Atypical antidepressants. You're gonna get swamped with "NOOOO DON'T TAKE MEDS", but some people go through fucked up shit in their lifes, and can barely recover without meds. Stress and cortisol fry your brain, and meds can help if taken in the right dose for the right purpose.

In the classical Greek system of medicine, depression was said to be caused by a build up of "black bile" in the digestive tract. This buildup slowed down digestion and metabolism and impacted energy and mood, causing people to feel sluggish and low. The solution to black bile buildup (called melancholy, melan "black" and chole "bile") was to take bitter herbs to stimulate digestion, and laxatives to help move the excess buildup out of the digestive system.
On the other side of melancholy was mania. This was said to occur when the black bile got suddenly burnt up and digested quickly, through fasting or some kind of purgative condition.
Today we know that this "black bile" spoken of by the Ancients is not actually bile, but is a bacterial and fungal biofilm that forms as a plaque in our intestines. It causes slow motility, sluggishness and low mood. Depression.
The solution, to get rid of depression?
Bitter herbs, and laxatives.
Just like Hippocrates, Galen, Dioscorides and Pliny the Elder recommended, many thousands of years ago.

I'm going to save you the trouble of shitting up the catalogue with more posts.
You have manic depression (bipolar disorder).
When you take the antidepressant it pushes you into a manic state.
Stop taking antidepressants until you get a diagnosis from a competent psychiatrist.
The drugs you are taking could cause you to harm yourself.

What you have is called Akathisia.

SSRIs are total bullshit and the science surrounding them is faker than vaccines or WWE. They do not help people with depression, they make it a million times worse. The drugs destroy your heart and shut down your metabolism. They are so awful in every conceivable way and are tools of the demonic.

Antidepressant = actually makes you 100% more depressed. A total satanic inversion.

Lads, serious question

I think I have some kind of serotonin problem..
Never really felt uhh happiness or joy much, not sure I've ever felt I've been in love despite many long term relationships..

What kind of drugs would they try to give me, and what do they do?

I have the same problem but a bit different
I used to take Wellbutrin
Which basically kills your emotions and turns you into an Apath

But one time while I was locked up they gave me some knockoff generic shit because "it duh same thing" they said

But instead of activating apathy, it activated a complete psychotic rage
I managed to bust down my room door, break the plexiglass shield window to the security room and was halfway out the building when the elevator opened and every male staffer and 4 security guards zerged me and I took out almost half of them before they managed to bring me down..

I had never felt such a murderous rage before in my life, it was like everything that was twisted or wrong with me had been let out of the cage
