What this means is a huge amount of covert tier red skins will be taken out or circulation, effectively boosting the value of skins in the long run.
For NOW they will crash but in the long run they will all go up because of this.
A fade glock or a gem knife is still going to be impossible to get. This changes very very little.

Market cap is still worth billions of dollars and will continue to grow despite this minor setback temporarily deflating knife prices it will in the long run inflate everything

Cs2 needs to exist for all gambling degenerates to stay in one place.

If you own a knife say from a certain collection, and that knife drops by 40% because of the update, people will then dump that same market value back into the covert skins beneath the knife in order to try and trade up to get the knife. And then when all of the covert skins from that collection are gone, and never get rereleased again, both the knife and the covert skins from that collection will rise to higher than they were previously.
So you might see a 40% reduction temporarily, and a 40% increase in coverts, but after a year or so both the knife and those red skins will rise by like 80-100%. So hold whatever you have even if shit tanks for the short term
