Bought a broken Dualit toaster that is no longer made for the US market and, due to Brexit and tariffs, they refuse to honor legacy warranty.
I replaced everything that needed it - because you can still find some parts - and now I am fabricating parts that don't even have part numbers in order to put it back into use.
I expect it to last another 30 years.

Use buckwheat to make sweet pancakes with it. Should be fine with buckwheat. Maybe mix flour and buckwheat together to see how they turn out first.

>2 eggs
>2 cups vollmilch
>1 tablespoon baking powder
>1 small can sweetened condensed milk
>1 shot glass real vanilla
Mix in a big bowl with a schneebesen until you get the consistency you want.
Thin = almost crepes
Thick = pfannkuchen
If you need it thicker, just add more flour/buckwheat
Should be pretty good

I taught myself how to make Laugenbrötchen - dark "pretzel rolls" with a cross cut in the top.
It's really easy.
Flour, water, yeast, salt.
Boil a couple cups of water and substitute 1/4 cup of baking soda - stir till it runs clear.
40 seconds per roll - 20 seconds a side.
450F for 10 mins then 400F for another 10.
