The John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer was presented from 1973 until 2019, when one of the winners, a chinksect called Jeannette Ng, smeared Campbell in her winning speech, calling him a "fascist", merely because he was a White Man that she didn't like.

Subsequently, the award was renamed the Astounding Award for Best New Writer. Jeannette Ng even won a Hugo Award for her speech in 2020 (the year of peak anti-Whitism).

How do we tackle the issue of institutional anti-Whitism in the literary world? The fact that you can receive praise and awards essentially just for saying "I hate White Men" is ridiculous, and just goes to show how anti-Whitists have overtaken literary organizations.

Imagine being a White Boy and seeing non-Whites get endless praise for shitting on White Men. The next Tolkien may well never write a single book because of such sentiment.

From what I understand, publishers are absolutely refusing to pick up books by white males anymore. And they're just becoming a kind of female-only space of black and brown 'suppressed voices' that can't actually sell books.

I've listened to a handful of male authors discuss this topic in different venues, and they claim that most of these 'celebrated' authors aren't actually making much money. They're winning awards and getting their books pushed at Barnes and Noble, but they're not actually selling much.
They've created a 'safe space' for themselves in traditional publishing where they all celebrate one another, but don't actually reach a wide audience.

So yeah, it actually is laughable. For all the accolades they stack up, they're still DWARFED in sales by old Steven King books daily.
