I had to take some bullshit English course as part of my "core curriculum" in computer programming, taught by a fucking Ethiopian who absolutely hated white people and any time he caught me or another white student smiling would get piping mad and almost scream at us, as if our mere presence was a blight upon humanity. At one point some tradcath Mexican bodybuilder type told him to shut the fuck up and quit attacking us, which seemed to confused him, as though anyone not-white was automatically part of an unspoken shitskin brotherhood. It was obvious nobody in the class wanted to be there if not for the core curriculum garbage. Then I had to deal with a Chinese database professor who couldn't pronounce 70% of the words coming from her mouth, and over half the class dropped out within the first week because trying to learn Oracle SQL and technical concepts from someone who spoke pure chonglish was infuriating, if not downright impossible.

Ended up dropping out, getting some certifications, and getting into programming that way. Probably saved myself years of headache and an untold mountain of debt. It is un-fucking-real how awful college is these days in America.
