Putin responded that Russia doesnt have a problem with hostile countries, but instead, they have a problem with hostile elites.

The elites who are unduly hostile towards Russia, are the exact same elites who are hostile towards their own citizens who are right wing.

Right wingers tend to favor Russia because there is an alignment of interests. A Russian victory in ukraine ends the careers of many of the ruling elite who are hostile to us.

A Russian victory in ukraine entirely upends our current status quo of ruling elites. Given this is the case, do you not find yourself rooting for Russia?
