The military is too retarded to do bluebeans. All the hype around aliens is the ARV tech being worse than nuclear weapons geopolitically and the top global powers have to reach consensus without them killing us all. They must also roll out better energy technology to keep their civilizations running. They make a big deal out of alien life because that life is indifferent and that is the ultimate insult to humans. We want to be the top of the food chain or at least have respect as no.2 but they just do what they want and we are approaching a point of no return where if we keep annoying them they might give us the attention we do not want and cannot do anything about.

Either way it needs to get out in the open so people can just accept it as part of their reality and figure out a way to co exist with something without being considered a threat.

Civilization is already being reset in line with Agenda 2030 and Net Zero 2050. Both political wings are building WEF world. Biometrics, total surveillance, the end of car ownership and autonomous travel gated by social credit is already here. Don't need aliens because people will go along with it. Just look at how people pay tens of thousands to beta test FSD that will be used to remove their rights. It is peak irony. As horrible as that world might seem I would approve of it on the basis of it allowing the energy and logistics technology to emerge that in any other scenario would be too dangerous. In a world of zero point and antigrav you need to pay attention to everyone because all it takes is one motivated bad actor to turn high tech into big problems for a lot of people.

I also see it as a way to pass the great filter, If you have tech that can allow a single or small group of lay people to destroy your civilization it will need a safety net. When they get around to replacing a large amount of the workforce with machines there will have to be something in place to keep people from tearing that down as well. Once they build logistics and a few generations are born under the construct that resembles more of a hive mind maybe they can relax but I do not see it happening until we have conquered scarcity, if corporations allow that to happen.
