I had a cat from kindergarten to university. She was like 20yo when she died. So I guess you could say I'm kind of a cat appreciator. However, I will never understand how people can get emotional because some cat or dog or other stupid fucking animal dies in a horrible way somewhere on this planet. It's really beyond me.

I own a farm. Death is a part of life. Giving an animal who has had a long, productive life a quick, honorable and painless end to a life well lived is always difficult
