Why is no one talking About this ?
The EU is planning to seize , confiscate , steal; call it what you will Russia’s immobilized funds that have been frozen at the start of the war .

Around the globe it is estimated to be around 500 billion euros that have been immobilised of Russian sovereign bank money.

The largest institution guarding this money is located in Belgium by the ECB or Euroclear. Estimated around 140 billion euro’s is being held here . My country utilises the windfall profits on this money and sends it to Ukraine as aid currently and also gains tax money from these “profits” the initial Sum that had been immobilised is not touched.

There are six other European countries that Also have large ammounts of Russian money but they have yet to declare the ammount they have in stasis and what they are doing with the windfall profits.

Now the EU is pressuring Belgium to release the 140 billion of Euroclear and send it to Ukraine to keep them in the war . It only goes to show that the EU is panicking and that the Channels for money are drying up if they even consider stealing Putins money .

Even in WOII, immobilised assets were untouched so this will set a new precedent and the consequences may be huge,

>Putin could interpret this as a declaration of war.
> Europe can be seen as a unreliable investment partner globally since they can just take control of all assets and money ( see nexperia , nethererlands)
>EU companies in Russia and russian allied countries may be seized in retaliation.

All in all this will cause shock waves in the financial market .
What are your thoughts ?

>seizing enemy assets
What's the problem? Maybe Putin should've thought ahead before he started his retarded 3 day special operation.

It gets better anon
The sanctions package passed 2 days ago that was greeted by the EU leaders as a sign of unity and progress lasted 5 minutes after the vote
They were all then informed by their defense contractors that they had just fucked up massively because they had interrupted essential supplies for re-arming
They then had to convene an emergency meeting in London that has just finished to try and figure out how to get around their own sanctions to enable their own defense firms to try and build what they are promising to the Ukraine

Its a clown world

Imagine if eventually there will be a peace between Ukraine and Russia and sanctions are eventually lifted.

If you use their money and eventually you have to Give it back 140 billion with claims of damages on top of that.

It would wreck any European country if they have to repay in full all on their own which is what the EU plans, they want for Belgium to take full responsability , they want to take the money but not Carry the consequence if things go bad .

The meeting had major defense contractors "Advising" because they are so clueless they didn't realize what an immediate ban on russian LNG actually meant for their contractors

..and as usual in this union of backstabbing hypocrites and petty assholes those who think they won't face the consequences or can even profit are calling the loudest for it. EU is a failed experiment, next time without the butthurt belt.
