Vincent Price?
Vincent Price's 7th great grandmother, Rebecca Towne Nurse, and her sister Mary Towne Esty, Price's 8th great aunt, were 2 of the 19 hanged for witchcraft in 1692. They had immigrated to North America from England and settled in Salem Village, Massachusetts.
He subsequently authored many books about art and his second great love, cooking. When Vincent Price: A Daughter's Biography (1999) was published, it stirred national headlines because of its revelations of the well-known Leftist's early anti-Jewish and anti-Communist behavior.
TIL Vincent Price was "greylisted" under McCarthyism in the 1950s for having been a prewar "premature anti-Nazi", and after being unable to find work for a year, agreed to requests by the FBI that he sign a "secret oath" to save his career.
He's a scary dude.
